STEM Resources

 We travel to schools in the San Antonio area to present High School Juniors and Seniors with information about local STEM fellowship and internship opportunities.

 We can present in individual classrooms, auditoriums, or cafeterias. All are welcomed, we only ask that the school prepares the appropriate monitor system for us to best convey our message to the students as our presentation is facilitated through the use of PowerPoint. 

The presentations are about 15-20 minutes, we require booking times for one hour to set-up and allow for questions from students. 

Appointment requests will only be accepted if submitted by Administrators, Faculty, Staff, and Teachers of High Schools in San Antonio and surrounding counties. Student requested appointments will not be accepted.

Prior administrative consent will be required and consent form must be submitted 5 days prior to an appointment. Our administration consent form can be found below. Failure to submit the consent form will result in rescheduling/cancellation of appointments. 

Photos and videos of the Stemstart Enrichment Speaker may be recorded during an event. If the school allows the entire event, including students, to be photographed, below you will find our photo release form to provide consent. Please provide all students attending with the appropriate consent forms needed by the district and by our organization. We require that all forms be returned to us prior to the start of the presentation. Any parents/students who do not agree to be photographed may still attend the event, with notice given to the Stemstart Enrichment Staff to not be included in any photographs.     

We will arrive 15 minutes prior to the appointment time to set up our presentation and receive further instructions about the presentation format. Please provide any information for Stemstart Enrichment Staff such as Parking, Sign-In Procedures, etc. at the time of booking.
